LEON C LIVE

Leon C is an 18 year old Contemporary Folk Singer Songwriter. With ten years of Classical Guitar training behind him Leon C brings a depth of musicality to his songs that complement his poetic lyrics. In just a year he has established following in his home county. He has grown up listening to music from the 60s and 70s from Dylan to the Stones and Bach to Vaughan Williams. His research of music from a wide range of genre has added to his source of musical inspiration including Kevin Morby, Keaton Henson and Townes Van Zandt. His songs are based upon his own experiences and his view of current news. Leon C displays a maturity that appeals to a wide range of listeners, from teenagers through twenties, thirties and on to the seventy year old listener. Leon C has provided support to National and International acts such as Rory Mcleod and Hannah Scott. In both cases his music was well received by the audience. In addition he has appeared at gigs in Southampton, Winchester and Portsmouth and has been played on Radio stations across the UK. His love of vintage music has informed his compositions which with his view of the world in which we live informs his work.
