The Weekend Offender is a four-piece ambient indie band whose focus is to replicate the emerging psychedelic indie sound, having been inspired by the likes of JAWS, Sundara Karma, The Stone Roses and Tame Impala. The band have been gigging in Birmingham for a year now and, after a short break, are eager to return to show the people of Birmingham what they have been working on. From new songs in progress to original songs within the studio, The Weekend Offender is back.

Future Fires burst out of the back streets of Birmingham and into the heart of its local music scene in early 2017.

After a momentous live debut, thanks to snagging a main stage slot at Godiva festival, the boys have charged from venue to venue around the musical capitals of the UK brandishing their distinctive brand of loud and lively indie.

As well as continuing their domination of the UK gig scene, with some high-profile live performances in conjunction with This Feeling, the band are cooking up a fresh batch of songs that they know will catch the attention of the industry big boys and help propel them onto the world stage.

“Big fan of that” – Louise Brierly, BBC Introducing

“Bouncy, indie rock that would be bound to cause scenes at a Summer Festival”Counteract

The Barratts return has been long awaited since their EP launch in June 2016 – now they return with new material embodied in a run of singles planned throughout the year. Their classic indie sound has been labelled as a worthy alternative to Northampton’s stale club scene.
