This rule-breaking band began their career by sneaking into their manager’s grounds and setting up a full PA without invitation. It was clear these guys were never going to go unheard. Their energetic and edgy live performances have gained them a reputation as electrifying. The Wholls’ live shows make punk rock look like a picnic – performed with an energy and enthusiasm rivalled by nobody.
2016 saw the quartet performing all the key UK festivals culminating in BBC Radio 1 choosing the band to represent the ‘best of’ Reading Festival, where The Wholls dominated the BBC Introducing stage to rave reviews.
More recently the band have been taking in other major festivals – including 2 stages at the Isle of Wight and TRNSMT – as well a support slot of the Kaiser Chiefs.
There is a reason everybody is talking about this band – The Wholls are quite simply a hard-working bunch of mates with bags of charisma, boundless energy and their sights set firmly on the world’s stadiums.
