The real people – Acoustic

Following last year’s superb show at the Actress & Bishop, we get another chance to see The Real People in an intimate acoustic setting. You can expect a set full of Realies classics along with rarities from their huge back catalogue and a few stories behind the songs and the characters they met along the way. They are masters of the song writing art and it shows in how well their songs translate to the acoustic treatment.

The brothers Chris and Tony Griffiths can rightly hold claim to be the godfathers of Brit Pop being hugely influential in the development of Oasis and OCS amongst others. No less a figure than Alan McGee recently acknowledged their mentorship of Oasis and named 3 Oasis songs “Columbia, Rockin Chair and Don’t Go Away” where there were “direct song connections”.
